Vengaboys, RPJ Band (Feastyfest) - Sunday 8th September - Feastyfest, Cheam Park

Brief review:

The annual Feastyfest show in Cheam brings an electric mix of artists, The enthusiastic Rick Parfitt Junior bought a wealth of classic rock and pop covers which certainly had a "party starting" feel to it. He even covered "Rockin' All Over The World" which I gather doesn't happen as often as you would think.

I really didn't know what to expect from the Vengaboys - my preconceptions were probably fairly negative. But they were actually really good fun. The crowd got involved and the music and singing were exactly what was needed for this type of event.

Scouting For Girls (FeastyFest) - Sunday 10th September - Cheam Park

Brief review:

Cheam's FeastyFest seems to be getting bigger year on year. Festival favourites Scouting for Girls are the headliners this year and I think it's fair to say, entertained everyone who had made it to the front of the stage and a fair few more besides.

Simply Madness (Feasty Fest) - Sunday 12th September - Cheam Park

View from the back

Brief review:
Feasty Fest features a number of bands - mainly doing covers or tribute acts within Cheam Park. Simply Madness are (unsurprisingly) a Madness tribute band. And if you like Madness, you'll probably like them as they sounded pretty authentic to me.

Venue and View:  Seated under a tree, 100 yds from the stage.
